We have posted a lot about sales motivation, what are the tricks in sales etc. But, improving at work doesn’t always just mean improving your ways of doing things but also improve the way you think.

My best tip on learning something new is to learn from someone who has already successfully done it. One of my favorite sales coaches, Brian Tracy, wrote a blog post on three books about self improvement that will really change your mindset and how you can improve your sales tactics.

1. Think and Grow Rich

Written by Napoleon Hill in the 1930’s. The idea of the book was to open doors to the 500 wealthiest people in America at that time. The book tells stories about people who started with nothing and ended up being the most successful in America. It clarifies what qualities and behaviors these people had, and how they have learned them.

This book is also one of the most successful self-improvement books in the history. It was originally written in 1937, but revised and updated in 2004.

2. Maximum Achievement

This book is written by Brian Tracy himself, and helps you to completely change the way you think. In the book, Mr Tracy have added everything about self-improvement that he knows and use in his own seminars. The book also gives you advice on how to get and maintain good relationships and how to improve you own self-confidence.

3. The Power of Positive Thinking

A very practical handbook on how to think positive, written by Norman Vincent Peale. It does not only courage you to think positive thoughts, but explains how the brain works and gives you great examples of how to control your mind, fears, doubts etc. The book also explains how easily people extract their mind in to wrong mindset, when just a simple thought and attitude could change the direction.
